Prentice Boys Band, Willis Lodge No, 17, Woodstock, N.B. Two uniform caps, made by the Dominion Regalia Co. Ltd., Toronto; apron bearing crossed swords and crossed keys, with serpent-head brass clasp; satin vest decorated with gold stars, crossed swords and crossed keys, and two pins, all in a satin-lined wooden case.

A fraternal order, the Prentice Boys was established in 1850, inspired by the Protestant apprentices who defended Londonderry, Northern Ireland, against the Roman Catholic forces of James II in 1688. Willis Lodge #17 was founded at Woodstock, New Brunswick, in 1894. The surviving documentary records of the Lodge were placed in the New Brunswick Provincial Archives at Fredericton.
